 Date: Friday, November 22

Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

   224 Shawmeadows Rd SW

To ensure the health and comfort of our immunocompromised children, each family will receive a private 15-minute time slot with Santa.

Only your family and a few volunteers will be in the room during your session, and we’ll disinfect between each visit for everyone’s safety.

This is a FREE event, and we’ll provide digital photos within a couple of days. We’ll capture both family photos and individual shots, so you can cherish the perfect picture of your precious little ones.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

ABOUT BELIEVE

Believe in the Gold is a charitable foundation dedicated to children. We are committed to raising awareness about Childhood Cancer, supporting families with medical expenses not covered by Provincial Health Care or extended benefit plans, and funding Childhood Cancer research.

Childhood Cancer does not discriminate; it can happen to anyone. It is the number one disease killer of children in the world. It claims the lives of more children annually than asthma, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis & AIDS combined.

Believe in the Gold aims to change these statistics and reduce the number of children affected by Childhood Cancer. We are working towards this goal by increasing awareness and raising funds for groundbreaking pediatric cancer research and treatments.

Believe in the Gold is the legacy of Jacey Uphill, who passed away from Ewing Sarcoma in October 2012. While isolated in a hospital room, Jacey claimed the word “BELIEVE” as her personal mantra.

Throughout her battle with this unrelenting disease, she remained positive and was determined to make a difference. She wanted there to be increased awareness around childhood cancer. She felt that the gold ribbon needed to be more recognizable as the symbol of childhood cancer. Despite the harsh realities she endured each day during her treatment, she remained active in the community, raising awareness about childhood cancer and how it affects children and their families. From this, Jacey’s mother, Shonalie, founded Believe in the Gold to carry on Jacey’s dream.
